Thank you for taking part in this research interview. Please read this short notice before you begin.

You are talking to an AI

This interview is conducted by an AI moderator, not a human. It listens, asks questions, and responds using an AI-generated (synthetic) voice. There is no person on the other side during the conversation. Any analysis of your interview is based only on what you say, as text — never on your voice or appearance.

Who runs this study

This study is run by the organisation or person who invited you to take part (the "Researcher"), who decides why and how your data is used and is responsible for it (the data controller). Userflix provides the technology that runs the interview on the Researcher's behalf (the data processor). Userflix does not access your transcript except on the Researcher's instruction, for support or incident response, or where required by law.

What is stored

Your spoken answers are transcribed into text in real time. Userflix does not keep a durable raw audio, camera, or screen/video recording from the standard interview flow. Your audio is processed in realtime by the configured AI service to conduct the conversation and create the written transcript. Screen content is transmitted only if the Researcher has expressly enabled that function for the study; camera content is not transmitted in the productive standard configuration. If an optional interview-continuity feature is enabled, the configured provider may retain the associated conversation state, including text, audio and expressly transmitted screen content, for up to 24 hours. The transcript and data required for selected interview functions may be stored and may contain personal data, including whatever you choose to share.

Technical information about your session

To run the interview reliably and keep the service secure, Userflix also collects limited technical data about your session — such as your IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, and error or security events. Userflix uses this technical data as its own controller only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service and ensure its functionality, on the basis of its legitimate interests. This technical and diagnostic data does not include the content of your interview answers.

Taking part is voluntary

You can stop and leave the interview at any time, without giving a reason. You do not have to answer any question you don't want to.

How your data is used

Your data is used for the research purpose described to you by the Researcher. The legal basis is your consent, which you give below. Persistent participant records and transcripts are hosted in Germany. Realtime interview processing uses an EU-regional service where configured and supported; selected configurations may process outside the EEA. Where this occurs, the applicable contracts include transfer safeguards under Chapter V GDPR. For details of how the technology handles your data — including storage, retention and safeguards — see the Userflix Privacy Policy. The Researcher may also provide a privacy notice with information specific to this study.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place. To exercise your rights, contact the Researcher who invited you to this interview; you can also reach Userflix at support@getuserflix.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to take part.

By accepting these terms, you confirm that you:

understand this interview is conducted by an AI using a synthetic voice;
understand that Userflix does not keep a durable raw audio, camera, or screen/video recording from the standard interview flow, while the selected AI service processes interview data as described above;
consent to your data being used as described above by the Researcher; and
are at least 16 years old.
