Concept & Prototype Testing with Userflix

Why use Userflix for concept testing

Userflix enables product and innovation teams to validate ideas quickly, understand user needs, and reduce product risk.

  • Show, then probe

Sketches, prototypes and concept boards appear mid-interview. Userflix asks what people noticed, what confused them and what they would pay for.

  • Compare concepts fairly

Every participant gets the same structured task, including rankings and scales, then open follow-ups. Counts are code-based, not estimated.

  • Iterate the same week

Set up in minutes, run in parallel, read the report as interviews land. Test the next version while the learning is fresh.

How the study runs

The brief: which of three early concepts deserves the next quarter of development.

  1. 01

    Set up the comparison

Upload concept boards, sketches or a Figma link. The setup agent writes the guide: unprompted needs first, then each concept, then the comparison. Choose whether every participant sees all concepts or one each.

  2. 02

    Show, then probe

Each concept appears mid-interview. Userflix asks what they noticed first, what it is for, what is missing and what they would pay. Vague answers get a follow-up.

  3. 03

    Add the structured layer

Rating scales, a ranking across concepts, a purchase-intent question with a probe on the score. Counts come from these tasks, not from estimates.

  4. 04

Read the report as it fills

Preference and intent by concept and segment, reasons ranked by how many gave them, quotes linked to the interview. Ask the study what confused people about concept B.
